Honor and Memorial Gifts
When you honor a friend or loved one with a donation to the Door Security & Safety Foundation, we will notify the honoree – or family, if the donation is a memorial, acknowledging your generosity. Your gift helps to advance life safety and security within the built environment as well as providing research and educational efforts. Make your honor or memorial donation today.
Matching Gifts
Did you know that you could double or even triple the impact of your donation by taking advantage of a charitable matching gift program. A matching gift program is where a company will match donations to charitable organizations. These matches are often dollar for dollar, which doubles your charitable-donation power. Be sure to check with your company’s human resources or payroll department to see whether it offers a matching gift program.
Gifts of U.S. Stock and U.S. Mutual Funds
Donations of stock, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities held for more than a year can offer attractive tax incentives while making it possible for you to invest in the Foundation’s groundbreaking efforts. When you give a gift of stock you can avoid capital gains tax and receive income tax deductions equal to the monetary value of your stock gift. (Please note that it is organizational policy to sell all donations of stock upon receipt.)

When you make a provision in your will, your legacy gift will ensure our long-term ability to press for work to continue to advance initiatives impacting the non-residential openings industry.
